Who we are

Migratio (gomigratio.com) is run by William Simpson, trading as Sky Lantern Media (ABN 16 776 449 076), an Australian sole trader. We decide how the personal information described here is used. Contact: admin@migratio.com.au.

If you send a consultation request

When you use an adviser's booking page we collect your name, email, phone number if you give it, when suits you, and what you need help with. We send this to the adviser you chose, by email and into their client list in their Migratio account. That is the only reason we collect it. The basis is that you asked us to pass your request on.

The adviser then holds your details as their own client enquiry and is responsible for how they use them. We don't share your request with anyone else, we don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.

We keep our copy while the adviser's account is open, so it stays in their client list. Ask us and we'll delete it; the adviser keeps the email they received.

If you're a immigration lawyer

For an account we hold your name, email, organisation, bar number, website, the booking page details you add, and your password stored only as a one-way hash. Card payments for the plan are taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. We use these details to run your account, check your registration, and bill the plan.

The directory lists organisations from the U.S. Department of Justice's public roster of recognized organizations. It shows organisation names and locations, not individuals' contact details.

Cookies and analytics

Essential storage keeps the site working (for example, keeping you signed in) and can't be turned off.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people use and where they get stuck. Clarity records clicks and scrolling with form fields masked. Visitors in the UK and Europe are asked first, and nothing for analytics is stored until they accept. Elsewhere analytics runs until you turn it off. Change your choice any time with "Cookie preferences" at the foot of every page.

We also keep our own count of page views and clicks (which page, which link) to measure the site. Until you accept analytics, it is counted without any identifier that links one visit to the next.

gomigratio.com loads no advertising tags.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (database, hosted in Seoul, South Korea), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity). Some of them process data in the United States and elsewhere. We use the contractual safeguards these providers offer for international transfers, and we share only what each service needs.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you've given. Email admin@migratio.com.au and we'll reply within one month.

If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to your state attorney general or consumer protection office.
